IELTS Results And Score
There are 2 types of IELTS tests available — the IELTS Academic test, and the IELTS General Training test.
Listening
Total questions: 40 questions (30 Minutes)
- Four recorded monologues and conversations
Reading
Total questions: 40 questions (60 Minutes)
- Three long reading passages with tasks.
Writing
Total questions: 2 questions (60 Minutes)
- A writing task of at least 150 words, and another short essay task of at least 250 words.
Speaking
Total questions: 3 questions (11-14 Minutes)
- The interview includes short questions, speaking on a stretch about a topic, and planned discussion.
IELTS Results And Score
The results of the IELTS results will be available online within 2- 21 days. after the test date. The IELTS Listening and Reading test is awarded one mark for each correct answer. The total score is converted to the IELTS nine-band scale. The writing part is examined by examiners by using assessment criteria to award a band score. The speaking part is examined based on fluency, grammatical, pronunciation, and accuracy. The results are valid for 2 years, and an individual can appear for the test as many times as required.
